Legend of The White Dragon

Dealing with the Vietnamese is not easy even for a Vietnamese. The reason behind this is that Vietnamese people do not trust one another, for most of us would betray friends, colleagues, superiors and sometimes even their relatives (parents, children, ect).

In 1954 when the communist first took over North Vietnam, citizens were so afraid, they went to the new local authorities to report bad things that others did before. Many cases were reported by their children, parents, uncles, brothers, ect. Those so call criminals were sentenced to death, and the ones that reported them, either they were given a government position or were ignored by the authorities to pursued an investigation on certain criminal activities according to communist rules.

Distrust in one another not only developed because of the politics of the kingdoms and politicians; but was also caused by the land we were born in according to certain belief. The lands on this earth formed into many shapes and sizes, certain area would look like certain animal. There are mountains that look somewhat like a tiger, some look as dragonflies or anything one could imagine and calculate accordingly to certain rules of ancient Geography.

Not only lands formed into shapes, water too is shaped. A river could look like a dragon. One has to know and understand the rules of geographic calculation to determent what a mountain or river is. Depending on where the river started and what color its water is, then what kind or color of the dragon that river is.

Many Americans knew and studied this phenomenon known as “Phong Suey”. “Phong Suey” is a word in Chinese meaning: “Air flow and Water”. Air flow is all around us, whether in a house, work place, place of business or place of worship. To have good air flow, The building has to face certain direction, built a certain way on certain location. In side, it has to be certain way of design; furniture has to be arrange and place at certain locations so that the air can flow all and evenly in the house.

It is believed that if one live in a house with good air flow and near good water, that person, family, will be rich and have power beyond belief.

The form of “Phong Suey” taught to Americans are just an icing of a cake. One could spend a life time to study “Phong Suey” and not be able to fully understand the mystic nor able to alter certain sites.

In today’s world, there surely is not that many people that have the ability to read and alter geography well enough to make a difference in someone’s wealth or power.

            Dragon! Is it a myth?

Not according to Asian Astronomers and Geographers, known as “Phong Suey Master”. It is legendary that there are nine dragons lying  on the land of Southeast Asia. Eight of them are in main land China including the Golden Dragon, which is the one that have the real power to rule. The White one is in Vietnam, but only the tail part of it is lying in part of North Vietnam.

When their time comes, all dragons will one day become rulers. Since only the tail part of the White Dragon is in Vietnam, We can never be able to rule China. Chinese had ruled Vietnam for about one thousand years through many Chinese Dynasties. Each dynasty ruled over us for so many years but ended up loosing the land to us at the end. We had won countless wars against any foreign country that wanted to control us. It is not because of Vietnamese are strong and smart, but because Vietnamese, in nature, are betrayers.

Betrayal is The nature of the White Dragon, it will one day over throw its ruler, who ever that may be.

All this boils down to the nature of the people that are born in these parts of the world. It is believed that human’s attitude is formed by nature: metals, woods, earth, water, fire. Depend on the place and the exact time one was born, he/she could be influenced by what was around at time of birth, one could be a tiger, and act like one, or one could be a dragon. There can be many tigers, phoenixes or other things, but there can only be one dragon in one era.

A tiger means that one will be a leader in force, meaning being an army general. Phoenixes will be queens. Dragon always means that the person will one day become monarch or ruler of the land if that person is inherited only and all the dragon’s air flow (somehow).

Why is it that most of us are betrayers since only one person, man, can have the whole influence of the dragon in one certain era?

Since not all of us inherit the whole influence of the dragon, most will inherit a potion of it. Some would inherit a little more than others, so some people would be a “little bit” wicked to deal with.

Keep in mind that not all of us think and act the same, nor inherited the same thing when we were born. Some of us are very loyal, the kind of loyalty that is very hard to find.

It is written that: there was a man, a servant, who apparently retaliated and tried to kill the killer of his master. Everytime he tried, he would get caught and released for his loyalty, but he kept on trying. He once even scared his face and swallowed a red hot burning coal to disguise himself from the enemy. Again, he was caught and brought in front of and was question by the one who killed his master.

“Tell me, you had helped your second master to kill your first master. Your second master was killed by someone. Not only did nothing, you became his servant. This time, I killed your third master and you are retaliating, why are you trying so hard to kill me even though I had released you time after time”.

            The servant answered:

“My first master treated me like a slave, and I treated him like an enemy. The second one treated me like a servant so I treated him like a master. The one you had killed treated me like a friend, I must treat him like a friend and must kill you to avenge for him”.

So, there are many sides to Vietnamese. Hopefully, we never have to meet or have to deal with someone who is a “White Dragon” in whole or in part.
