A Lifetime of Achievement:
As an educator, writer, and polymath, Bruce earned recognition from Marquis Who's Who, receiving the prestigious Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. With many years of experience in my professional network, he has been noted for his achievements, leadership qualities, and successes in the field of education and travel.
Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award Accolades and Honors
With a passion for education and a commitment to excellence, Bruce earned an Associate of Science from Greater Hartford Community College in 1972, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Certification to Teach Secondary Science and Vocational Agriculture from the University of Massachusetts in 1975. His pursuit of knowledge continued with a certificate in Data Processing from Business Education Institute in West Springfield, MA, in 1981, and culminated with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford in 1989.
As an educator, Bruce taught a range of subjects in middle school, high school and at a private business college ranging from Science to Vocational Agriculture and Information Technology. In each class, Bruce challenged his students to think, problem solve and excel using a blend of multimedia resources and hands on experiences.
